Dear Parent/Guardian:
I will have your son/daughter in either Accounting I or Principles of Business class this semester. I teach part-time—two classes per day and also serve as Director of Career and Technical Education for Graham County Schools.
When in the classroom, I make every effort to see that my students get the excellent educational experience they deserve. I have minimal discipline issues and find that I usually have well-behaved students. However, the following discipline plan will be in effect in my classroom and your son/daughter will be asked to follow these expectations:
1. Come to class with a positive attitude.
2. Be in the room with needed materials when the tardy bell rings.
3. Complete all assignments on time.
4. Work quietly and listen attentively.
5. No food or drinks allowed in the classroom.
If these expectations cannot be followed, the following consequences will occur:
1. Verbal warning
2. Student/teacher conference.
3. Student will be referred to the assistant principal.
I also reward students who behave appropriately with frequent praise, free class time, movie days and other fun activities.
In order for this plan to be effective, I need your support. Please discuss this discipline plan with your son/daughter so everyone understands what will be expected in my classroom. |
